A Womans Love for a Military Man
It all started on an online website called myyearbook. Katie was updateing her profile when she got a message from this military guy. She said what the hell and decided to read it. She thought maybe it was someone trying to get to know her. She opens the message and reads it. The military guy was asking to get to know her she was right for once in her life. She agreed and they started talking. He told her his name was Brian and she told him her name was Katie.
Eventually they exchanged yahoo names and they started to talk that way. They talked everyday faithfully. A few months later, she became his best friend, kinda like a sister and he told her what he was feeling and she listened to every word and tried to give him the best advice she could hoeping it would help him out, if not alot atleast a little bit. He was having troubles with his girlfriend at the time. She was very mean to him, and treated him like he was a child. She did things to him no man or woman should ever do to one another. He kept his cool though and despite of everything going on, he couldn't help but love her.
Soon it got to a point where he couldn't take the abuse from her and she had cheated on him. Katie was there for him through the good and bad times. She listened and and cared for every thing he had said weather he really thought so or even took a minute to think about weather she cared or not. Brian and his girlfriend had a baby together but they soon broke up and Brian got custody of his child. He had also found out he had a little girl he never even knew about. He got custody of her to. Though I will not go into the details of the situation, everything turned out for the better.
Brian finally moved on from his girlfriend and asked Katie to be his. She said yes. Things went really well for several months, then things started going down hill and Katie never thought that dateing a military man would be good for her, simply because of the distance between the two of them. They were over 9 hours away. She started to get depressed and was pushing him away and didn't realize it. Brian told her and she tried to deny it but after he kept asking why she was pushing him away she told him. He was upset because he really liked her and loved her very much. He assured her that everything would be okay.
Several more months went by and still things werent perfect but they were slowly getting better. Katie eventually realized that long distance realtionships weren't all that bad and decided to give it a try. She really loved this guy and was falling in love with him each day they talked she really and truely in her heart and mind didn't want to hurt him. She kept it secret though because she didn't want to ruin their friendship and didn't think he felt the same way about her as she did he until he asked her out.
Weeks went by and Brian asked Katie to marry him. She wasn't sure if he was serious or not so she asked the most stupid question ever "Are you serious?" He said yes and she started to cry and and told him that she would marry him. He was very happy. Still to this day they are going strong, despite the miles, the stupid little arguements and everything in-between. They love each other with all they have. Katie even loves all 3 of his children like they are her own. She couldn't have asked for a better life. She has the one she has always hoped and dreamed for, the best kids she may never get the chance to have of her own, and a wonderful life.
It's been over a year now since they have been dateing, nothing got in the way of their relationship, though there were times that they could have split for good because of some of the actions Katie had made. She's changed herself for the better and working on more ways to change her life so she can keep her true love by her side forever and always. THE END
*Authors Note* This is an online relationship thats been going on for over a year. So if you ever come to a point where you find your true love online and don't think you can handle it, let me tell you what. I felt the same way and it was an uphill battle trying to keep things going strong. I had to mentally and physically put my emotional thoughts and feelings aside and make this work. I did it because I am truely in love with this person. If you truely love that person you can make it work. It's not easy but in the end you will feel alot better and realize that all the hard work and devotion was well worth it. So don't ever let anyone tell you that online relationships will never work. If I can do it, you can do it too!
